End of a Holiday Day, Main Street, Early 1960s

A look down Main Street at the end of the day with eveyone leaving the park. The Holiday decorations are up and the lampposts have their wreaths and the garland runs across the street. I can just hear the Christmas music being played and off in the distance can be seen the Town Square tree and Main Street Station. I think the next time I go to Disneyland, I will wear my suit and tie as these guests all appear to be wearing.

This is an unusual angle...the sky sure looks light, wonder what time people had to leave back then. You can see that the signs and gas lights are on, so it must have been darker than it appears in the photo.
