Tomorrowland Circa 1988

Three neat photographs of Tomorrowland circa 1988. First up a nice dusk view of Tomorrowland as seen from the Peoplemover. I miss the elevated Rocket Jets and the kinetics of the ride with the Peoplemover circling the tower.

Next up a view of the entrance.

Another view from the Peoplemover showing the many layers of intertwined attractions.

Clowns, Clowns and More Clowns

More pictures of the circus clowns from Circus Fantasy 1988. First up the routine on the Main Street Skyway. I love the Chuck Taylor Converse shoes...I need to get a pair in baby blue!

Unicycles always make me laugh and the one in the background is quite spectacular with all the white wheels.

A big childhood memory is seeing a one man band similar to this clown. It appears he is making some fun of the Disneyland Band in this picture.

Send In The Clowns

What is a circus without clowns? The Circus Fantasy parade and event in 1988 featured a movie themed clown parade. First up is the director bringing in the camera truck.

Here is the camera truck.

Across Main Street, a cable was strung and a cable car was run by clowns across the chasm between buildings.

An Old Favorite

While I am out of town on a business trip, I have no access to a scanner. So here is an old favorite post, the manual to drive a Monorail, the Highway in the Sky...
