A Ride on the Train From Frontierland to Main Street- Part 2

Continuing on with the train trip taken in 1968, the train is now leaving Fantasyland and the photographer has taken some nice images of the It's A Small World esplanade and the exit. Once again, I love the wide open space of the boulevard.

Here we are at Tomorrowland station. I like all the action in Tomorrowland and the lack of visual clutter. The large screen, the grandstand queue line and the funky circular building do not have a design appeal.

Finally, we are at our destination Main Street station. Love the vintage Santa Fe advertising poster.

Very nice pictures. I always enjoy pics taken from the train. So many different points of interest.

The pictures from the train are terrific. I think that's the only time I've seen the Matterhorn photographed from the train as it went round the park.

I remember those days where the Park was not crowded and the pace was relaxed. It was a different time.

Wonderful! Really a porthole into a vanished time. And when the transformation of DCA is complete, lazy days at the park will be gone forever. :(
