Whoa, look at all those people! I was just flipping through "Jason's Disneyland Almanac", and noticed that the 4th was often extremely crowded compared to other days. Happy 4th to you!
I went on 4th of July once in the late 80s. It was gridlock and at one point we were stuck between the Matterhorn and Tomorrowland Terrace for about ten minutes without moving a single foot and pressed up against the masses. It was scary. After that episode we immediately left the park and went back to the hotel. Next day it was fine.
