Doors to the entrance from Oceanic Arts.
Lovely light.
One of the best design pieces are the tiki's at the bar, based upon the chanting Tiki Room poles.
More design elements with a great megaphone. One of the character stories for the bar is the skipper Skip and this is his megaphone.
The view of the patio at torches at night.
Yours truly in the bar.

Everything is better when you're wearing a fez! (What does it say, by the way?)
Still need to get over there - great post!
You should have mentioned that you visited on surely the most crowded day in its brief history!
I would have loved to have met you!
Outstanding! I wore my Sons of the Desert fez - from Fez-O-Rama, of course - on a visit in June. A Trader Sam's fez would be just the thing...
Nice pictures. I'm going in August. I can't wait to check it out.
Major- the fez is the Honui Fez for the Fraternal Order of Moai (FOM- www.fraternalorderofmoai.org) I am a proud member of the order.
So Disney still gets stuff from Oceanic Arts, huh?
Love the fez!
Patrick it was good to catch up with you at "Sam's" Ive been there now about 15 times since it opened and it seems the drinks are slowly becoming way too sweet. You forgot to mention we almost got caught sippin' from your run flask out front!! Ha!!
That is seriously the coolest Hawaiian-print shirt I have ever seen. Are those surf boards in the leis? Very unique!
Now that is a SHIRT sir! And the fez just makes it complete... Looks like Trader Sam's is quickly becoming the Disneyland enthusiasts hang out - wish I could go!
TikiCentral? Love the shirt. It's outstanding. Looks like you've visited fez-O-rama. Going to Disneyland in October for my 61st birthday. Looks like a place I need to visit.
