Souvenir Friday- Monsanto Home of the Futurre Postcard
Continuing the Monsanto Home of the Future souvenirs, a great large postcard featuring the kitchen at the Home of the Future. The colors are definitely ahead of its time, the postcard being given out in the 1960s and the green being a 1970s color.

One of my favorites. After looking for one of these for a long time, I was lucky to come across a group of 6, and got 'em for cheap!
I think it's interesting that as the exhibit evolved, Disney toned down the "Buck Rodgers" elements of the house, especially the kitchen appliance. In the 50's edition, all the kitchen appliances were powered by antimatter (kidding), but in this edition, the oven and cook top are both off the shelf for the period.
Maybe Disney swung an additional sponsorship for appliances?
