A Balloon and His Boy

A wonderful and fun set of an early balloon boy. Although the photographer was pathetic in shot selection, framing and even focus, it is still neat to see a young boy posing with his red balloon throughout the park.

Reminds me of myself as a young lad. I always begged my folks for a red mouse eared baloon!

I always chose a red one too. When we got home, I would tie it around the bedpost and I was always very sad to see it on the ground the next morning. Remember how the ears would shrink up? Just a reminder that your day at DL was over. :-(

I went for the red balloon too, once, my dad bought the balloon at the end of the day, so we wouldnt have to fuss with it in the rides, etc.

when we got back to the motel, it drifted up to the "cottage cheese" ceiling and burst...
