Battlestar Galactica at Universal Studios
In 1979, Universal Studios unveiled a new attraction to the tram ride, the thrilling Battle of Galactica. The attraction featured audio animatronic Ceylon's battling with live actors. The interior was black light with lots of lasers. The building was located where the Simpson's ride is now located.
I remember going on the Tram Tour once when they had the Battlestar Galactica segment on the Tram Tour
Other than the laser battle, there was one thing that stuck in my mind ever since. I don't know if it's because I was so young that my mind exaggerated what I saw, but I remember sitting on the far left of the row (so the show would take place to my right) and there was this ... small window. At first I didn't notice it, but I remember looking over and there was this face peaking out from it. It actually frightened me. I tapped my brothers shoulder and told him to look to the left and he saw it and it scared him too. I don't remember crying or anything. I just kept my eye on the show part, just so I wouldn't have to look to my left.

Wow, what a great blast from the past! I still remember one Cylon splitting right in two.
Nice! I think I visited Universal before and after this attractions existed on the tram tour, which explains why I missed it.
