World's Fair Wednesday- More 1965 New York Views

Staying at the 1965 New York World's Fair, first up is the statue the Vine located in the gardens surrounding the Unisphere. This statue looks more like one that would have been at the 1939 World's Fair.

Next up is a view of the RCA building. The sign is extolling color television sets.

Another view of the space park.

The tail end view of the Chrysler car.

"The Vine" really DOES look like it's from 1939, I wonder if it could be that old.

Color TV? It'll never happen. Those bright colors will hurt your eyes and make you crazy.

Notice the license plate ("VIP-JR"), where you could pose with your head poking out of a hole.
