The wall of posters continued down the walkway and also was placed up on the berm. And the selection of posters is amazing. If you look on the right side of the wall, just past the Autopia poster, there hangs one of the most unusual and rare posters, the Casa De Fritos poster. This image is for all the attraction poster fans! Also note that the poles the posters are hanging from have shields, tiki heads and skulls to keep up the Adventureland theming.

It really is amazing, most photos that you see of vintage Disneyland seem to show the relatively "common" posters, with a few exceptions. But these slides have the rarest of the rare. Casa de Fritos isn't the most beautiful image in the world, but I've only seen two actual examples (one at the Armand Hammer Museum exhibit from years ago). As for the Art Corner poster, I only know of one of those (never even seen one offered at auction). And if you look down the wall, you see yet another Red Wagon Inn poster, and another Frontierland poster with the MIne Train and Pack Mules (two of those in one shot!).
By the way, do you have any idea what was being built that required these walls? I am guessing Swiss Family Treehouse, but don't know if the date corresponds to that. Maybe the Tiki Room??
I don't think anythingwas being constructed, it was just to hide the backside of the buildings. I believe they eventually opened up the Adventureland side of the buildings and the walls came down.
