Another shot showing my favorite mountain and the Coke Tomorrowland Terrace...hey kids, no running allowed!
A collection of images and other items from Disneyland, theme parks and other amusement parks. Also look for images and items I find interesting, amusing or both.

Two things I really miss. The Skyway and the Peoplemover. What is really sad is that so many never had the reward of experiencing either. It was special to look down.
1st pic: yellow overdose.
2nd pic: those girls are probably running to the Carousel of Progress. It's great to be young and at Disneyland!
The Peoplemover was such a perfect people eater that I doubt the park could hold enough to possibly fill it to capacity.
Thinking outside the box in left field here, but 'know what might have been neat? Having the peoplemover also service around the park. Not over/by the train, but outside. Often showing the Anaheim scene. 2 reasons. It'd be a different show (people just might like rubber-necking from inside looking out) and it would present the Peoplemover more associated with current transportation, like "here you are, moving about the city with ease, nudge nudge" which is also a message the ride was intended to give. That works for the Monorail and the Peoplemover could have stops in every land and is easier to keep just unnoticed out of the way so as not to be too visible inside the land. Ah well just musing.
Can't believe it. Actually thinking of getting a yellow shirt and pants...
Love the fist shot.
I always liked the solid colors of the PeopleMover more than the silver with a colored stripe. The solid colors PeopleMover trains seemed to go better with the Skyway and the two Autopias
Wow, no rails around those PeopleMover cars. I wonder when they added the first rails to discourage people from climbing out? It seems like there are very few shots out there showing them without even one layer of railing. I imagine they were added pretty early on.
Ditto the above, the Peoplemover cars always looked best in their sold colors. And the running lights were a very nice touch.
Both photos are all kinds of awesomness!
*sigh* How I miss that Tomorrowland....
Wonderful.
Thank you.
