They Went That Way

Two views of Tomorrowland taken approximately in 1960. First up is a great view of the Tomorrowland Skyway station. I like the row of attraction posters on the bottom of the structures as well as the popcorn lights and vertical striping on the stairway.

Next up an image from in front of the America the Beautiful Circlevision theater. The kid appears to be re-enacting his favorite Bugs Bunny scene- they went that way! Check out the sign posts in the background and the nice Monorail attraction poster.

That's an unusual angle on t he Skyway station. And it took me a minute to figure out that the kid is holding a pinwheel!

That is an unusual and really 'neat' view of the TomorrowLnd terminus prior to its enclosing. This was always a really good location for poster viewing. There was also a 'Mad Hatter' location out front.
I have mentioned it before but this specific location (POV of the camera) can be the coldest and most chilling location in the park. There has always been something just a little 'eerie' over there.

That, btw, is an excellent picture. I really like that shot a lot. Thanks for posting that one.

That trash can in the 2nd shot, do you suppose it was actually silver in color?
