May 57 Visit to Disneyland Part 5

More Frontierland, the photographer really enjoyed taking pictures of the Mark Twain. First up is a nice view of the paddle in action.

An unusual view of the steam engine and drive shaft for the paddle. This is one of the pieces I like watching when riding the Twain.

Next up is a nice slide of the Indian Chief greeting us from the banks of the River of America. Note the rest of his tribe are up on the hill.

And it appears a little work is happening on Tom Sawyer's Island.

Neat shots! But I don't see an Indian Chief anywhere...

I'm surprised how often you see workers doin' their thing at Disneyland in old photos, considering that the park was probably closed two days a week.
