Waiting for the Submarines

Just a quick post showing the ladies of the family waiting for the Submarines on the dock. These are at the edge of the contact print and are quite rough. However, I feel the roughness helps make the image appear more nostalgic.

It looks like the lady is wearing a sparkly dress!

Until today, I assumed that these photos were pre-1959.
