Souvenir Friday-Corriganville Movie Ranch

A while back, Ken at the Outside the Berm blog posted information on Corriganville run by Crash Corrigan. (The exact date is April 18, 2008.) Here is a nice brochure given out to the families that arrived at the park for a day of wild west fun. The back of the brochure lists the events. Saturdays were pretty mellow with no shows or events planned, but Sunday was the day to be there. One could even win prizes. The center of the brochure is the wonderful map of the grounds.

Here is a picture that could be taken when visiting the park.

Great post, RARE brochure! I am going to check out what's left of Coriganville this weekend, I live about 10 minutes from the old site. From what I have seen (On Outside the berm) there isn't much left....

Thanks and where did you get this?

Corriganville is just so fascinating! Can't get enough.

We have some really great 'Then & Now' images we are working on to share with you all soon. It always takes so much time, doesn't it?

Great post. Thanks!

Those were the days...what great memories. Lived on the ranch for several years, my parents owned the Trading Post store on the ranch. Spent much of 1957-1966 watching the studios make movies, stunt shows on the weekends. Life was simple...good guys wore the white hat...sometimes a mask.

Your pictures sure brought back many childhood memories. My parents use to take me to Corriganville on the week-ends, we had a great time. I now live out of state and I'm sorry to hear that there isn't much remaining of the old town. Thanks so much for the walk down memory lane.
