The Shooting Gallery is Closed

Neat sign that was used at the Adventureland shooting gallery when it was closed for refurbishment. I like the crocodile referencing the Jungle River Cruise and also to Peter Pan.

More wonderful sign documentation from Disneyland. I love it. It was a bummer when "Big Game Shoot" was closed forever. Another atmospheric sound from the past. Thanks!

I can tell you it was tough to work an 8 hour shift there without being hit once by a ricochet. Still, shooting a real pellet gun is much more fun than the electronic stuff there now. Ah progress...

Only "real" shooting gallery I ever experienced at Disneyland. I was six and I think I hit one target, although someone else might have been aiming at the same one at the same time. Then I watched my dad proceed to hit something with every shot, which explained the expert marksman ribbon on his AF uniform.
