Souvenir Friday- Listing of Special Events Nights At Disneyland 1964
This may be something totally obscure, but I think it is a great piece and presents some information not found elsewhere. The sheet is a memo listing the various special events nights at Disneyland in the first half of 1964. Some interesting nights including several conventions and youth events that helped to increase attendance. My favorite nights are when a company or organization would get the park for the night. Many times the attendance was less and the ability to ride all the rides was greater. Also listed are the four Grad Nites for 1964.

I love stuff like this. So I take it the private party events were "pay-one-price" with unlimited riding unlike the convention and youth events held at the park which required ticket books.
Fireman's' Night was always in September for as long as I could remember. It was a great time to go with my family when Dad wasn't working at the ol' F.D. We had lots of friends whose Dads' were also Firemen... so I remember we would go as a large group whenever possible. As we got old we were allowed to run off into the night without our parents. Lines were short and there was plenty of fun! Thanks for the memory "Matterhorn."
Always your pal,
