The Castle Of Sleeping Beauty

More 1956 Kodachrome slides from Disneyland. Today the photographer focused on Sleeping Beauty Castle. The first image is from the hub and reminds me of the cover of the 1956 and 1957 Disneyland guidebooks. Quite a lot of activity and color in this image.

The next image is from the Carnation Gardens side of the Castle. Note the fire hydrant and the white picket fence as every princess wants a white picket fence, 2 kids and a dog.

I didn't know you could still see that red fire hydrant in 1956… I thought they covered that up (or moved it?) pretty quickly. But there it is!
