I love views of "it's a small world" from the Disneyland Railroad. Wonder what the blue seating is for in the second image. Anyone know?
Yeah, I was wondering what all those seats were there for as well! Never seen that before.
Also favorite views for me. The topiaries were a stroke of genius, setting this ride apart in a world of it's own. No "Black Forest" fantasy world here, it's a blank slate of images common to all.
I think the blue seats might have been a test run for the big auditorium that is not far from there now. Not sure what event might have spurred that development.
When I was young, I had no time for those shows. As a parent, they were a welcome break to sit in the shade while the kids watched the show.
Now, I have no time for them again. I would rather sit somewhere where I can watch the happy people and remember.
