Art Show At Walt Disney Studios

Many of the animators also created fine art outside of their work at the Walt Disney Studios. Walt Disney noticed this and created an art fair where the employees could show their art. This fair appears to be early 1960s. First up is Walt speaking to two employees. The gentleman in the striped shirt looks like John Hench.

I do not recognize this employee speaking with Walt and looking at art. I like the clown painting.

One final image with some nice landscapes and seascapes.

Those are neat photos! The clown's faces in that one painting look like skulls.

I am hoping that one of your readers will be able to identify the other two men!

Hello! As a collector of 3 paintings by John Datu Arensma, the Art Director for the iconic "Red River" film of Howard Hawks starring John Wayne and Montgomery Cliff (and quite a few other films!), I'm hoping his "signed name" is of interest. His signature is a stylized "J.L. Datu," and he was also a friend of Walt Disney and also was at Raymond Burr Galleries grand opening on Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills in 1962. I'd truly enjoy talking with anyone who may have his family - colleagues contacts, etc. I'm Tim Beasley of Virginia Beach, VA
