A Couple of Favorites

I posted these images quite a while ago. The scans I had were from positives and as I was going through some stuff, I found the negatives. I decided to post them as they are such cool images of attractions that have changed. First up is the old Snow White facade in Fantasyland.

The second is of the World Beneath Us exhibit with an art show out front.

The Snow White picture takes me back. For work done "on the cheap" it looks splendid. BTW, did they re-use those posts with crowns for the Dumbo organ pavilion when it was re-constructed in the 80s? Or did they just use the idea?

Here's an exhibit I really will pass on: "World Beneath Us" sponsored by Acme Cesspool and Septic, Inc.

Very cool that you found the original negatives! I have a picture (black and white) showing an art display out in front of the "20,000 Leagues" attraction that looks very much like this; is it possible that this could be the 20K building? Or maybe they did the art show in both buildings?

Major- Both Tomorrowland buildings were used as I have pictures of both buildings with art in front of the building.

Nothings says "Future" more than flags on ropes tied to large towers?? Yet somehow it works.

I've got an idea, lets put up a title mural over those upper windows - nah...

These are shows you have pictures of and are talking about, were they Disney movie art, general art from local artists or those abroad, or non-Disney art from Disney artists? If they were none of these, what were they?

Thanks!
