People

One of the joys of looking at vintage Disneyland photographs is the people. You can tell it was a different time and Disneyland was a special event. The guests dressed up for the most part and there was a certain sense of style. Not always the best style, but a certain sense of style.

Disneyland also allowed grown ups to indulge themselves, where else would you purchase a sun hat like these? And ride a full size stern wheel river boat?

Hey, that's their "Sunday Best"! Nice camera grandpa has there. Jr. appears to have obtained a red badge of some kind in the time between the two photos. Thanks for the people sharing.

I like vintage photos of people, and they are even better when they are at Disneyland! look at that guys camera bag, I'll bet it weighed a ton too.

Great post. Wouldn't it be great to be able to go back in time and walk through Disneyland - not even going on rides - just enjoying the people? Noone spitting on the sidewalk or being rude, no cynics or cell phones...
