A collection of images and other items from Disneyland, theme parks and other amusement parks. Also look for images and items I find interesting, amusing or both.
As a finish to the spotlight on Monorails, the SOP is the 1966 version of the Highway in the Sky Story Guide and Operations Procedure. This SOP was owned by Ken Kohler who was a Club 55 Member and also heavily involved in the operation of the Disneyland trains throughout the years. He was also involved in the predecessor to the Monorails, the Viewliner. Enjoy reading everything you need to know to run your own Monorail.
Wow - Another great posting. Thanks very much for this - and all the other things I've enjoyed so much. I'm going to try out some of these SOPs on my local bus system and see what happens. I've already got the 'T' sign down.
I'm sorry for commenting again but this has to be the best thing I have ever seen on the Monorail!! That picture of the storage garage is awsome. I have looked at that building for almost FORTY years and always wondered what it looked like inside. I made that trip down Harbor Blvd. at least 3-4 times a week. Thanks so much Matterhorn - INCREDIBLE!!!! DD

What a fun read! Thanks for posting this!
Mono...
Doh!
In summation,
MONO = ONE
RAIL = RAIL
Club 33, not 55
Club 33 has nothing to do with Club 55. Club 55 is a club for ex- cast members that were hired in 1955
This did not load right and i am really excited to see it - any thoughts?
Boy, in a week of trying, I've been totally unable to see any of these pictures! Has the Big Bad Mouse made him take these down?!
Shore would like to see 'em!
Unfortunately due to the high traffic my webhost has cancelled my account. I am working on a different host, please standby.
Have you thought about simply hosting some imageshack.us thumbnails which link to the larger image? There's quite a few free solutions out there.
I'd really love to see these pics, mine never got done downloading :(
