Antique Autos Main Street 1960

Today I just want to say this is one nice view of the Antique Autos on Main Street. I miss the days of ticket books where guests would ride these cars to use up their A Tickets instead of waiting in line for the big new ride all day long....

Very nice photo....how about the days when you could pay a somewhat low admission price (no ticket book) and stroll around the park? We did this once when I was a kid, my mom took us at the last minute. The only ride we went on was the DLRR. We had a great time!

Reminds me of a time when my grandfather (a member of Club 55, a mechanic) took my sister and I out for mexican food one night when we were about 8 years old. He suprised us and took us to Frontierland for dinner followed by a ride on the Mark Twain. That was it then we went home. But I clearly remember what a great time we had and thinking how cool it was that we could just drop into Disneyland for dinner. It's not such a special thing anymore with the advent of the AP.
