Random Disneyland Pictures

Some random Disneyland images from 1971. First up a view of the Matterhorn, Monorail and the Skyway. Man I miss the Skyway!

Next up is an image of Sleeping Beauty Castle, which always makes me smile and remember the good times I have had at Disneyland over the years.

Final image is of the motorized Fire Engine on Main Street.

Although not showing rare or unusual views, these photographs remind me of my childhood.

Cool shots! I miss the skyway too and the cool breeze and musty smell as you passed through the Matterhorn. I also miss when they would actually have ALL the main street vehicles running and it was less about packing in as many AP's in on any given day.
Those days are long gone I'm afraid.

I miss the Skyway as well. The place doesn't feel the same without it.

Alonzo, I'm going to Disneyland next week after staying away from it for six years. I used to go several times a year every year sinc the early 60s, but grew tired of the overcrowded conditions in the last 10-15 years. I guess I'm getting to old for it.
