I loved the mushrooms. They saved three of the mushrooms from the Scotts Valley park and they now reside in a community park next to Scotts Valley City Hall.
These were, without doubt, the most magic thing at Santa's Village when I was 5 years old.
That little girl in red is the perfect subject for these photos, too cute for words.
Thanks for these great pics, such a fun little park. I wish I remembered it better, but these do look familiar.

I would love to find a Santa's Village shroom! I crawled all over them along with a million other children in the late 50's/60's. I practically lived at the SV in Scott's Valley, CA when I was a kid. SO MAGICAL! I've also been hunting for their gingerbread man recipe for years. The best gingerbread men on the planet. It's been gone for 40 yrs and I still miss it. Sniff :(...
