Views From On High

More Disneyland images from the late 1980s. All of the pictures are taken either from the elevated beamway of the Monorail or the cables of the Skyway. First up is one I believe taken from a Monorail high over Tomorrowland. I like the background of it's a small world and the mashup of the many attractions.

Next up is a shot taken from a Monorail heading towards the Disneyland Hotel passing by the Tomorrowland Skyway terminal. Once again the mashup of the attractions is something I miss.

Last image is from the cables for the Skyway above Fantasyland. The fairly new Dumbo is shining brightly and the umbrellas add a nice touch of color to the image.

Great shots. Gotta love the Peoplemover and Skyway in action (alas with their days numbered). I always loved the (2) autopias and not the jumbo combined version. Great time, you can almost hear the Wham music coming from the tomorrowland terrace.

Extra nice set of images today. The first and last images were taken from the Skyway. The middle image is taken from a PeopleMover vehicle leaving the America Sings building and heading towards the Autopia backwoods.

The first images is awesome. I'm still hoping that some day an image of the red curly façade that graced the Fantasyland Autopia for a very short period shows up. I think that façade existed in the 1990s.

Thanks for the update. I really love your collection of late 20th century images of Disneyland.

Very nice, these make me miss the Skyway more than ever. That last shot is so unusual, never seen anything like it.
