The entrance and exit sign from the now closed Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough. The signs are very pretty with their crown shape and the vine design intertwined in them. The vines mimic the scene in the film where the castle is surrounded by thorns and vines put there by Malificent. And for Major, here is a close up of the mural for the Peter Pan load area. The mural shows all the characters from the film in front of a tree with the map of Never Never land to the left side.

I remember walking through that when I was a kid, circa 1977 or 78. I was 3 years old at the time, and I still remember it vividly, it was so cool to me. It's a shame it's not open anymore.
Thank you for the mural detail! It really is completely different from what is there nowadays. I am oddly fascinated with change at Disneyland, even if I don't necessarily like it.

Is there any possibility of seeing some interior pictures of the Sleeping Beauty walk through? I've heard so much about the attraction and would love to see some more pictures.
Well, blow me down....the words "Sleep Beauty Castle" send shivers down my spine. When visiting the park in 1956 as a 6-year old, I had the pleasure of walking through the yet-to-be-completed "walkthrough" without permission (i.e. went under the barrier at the entrance) ....before the entire floor was finished! The result? Why, some of my 6-year old footprints were immortalized in wet cement ...however, I was never able to get back to park to check 'em out. If only Walt were still alive...
