Mark Twain Coming Into Frontierland Dock 1956

Two more beautiful Kodachrome slides from 1956. The images show the Mark Twain coming into the Frontierland dock. In the background are the Conestoga Wagons and the Stagecoach attractions. The dock is rather barren looking as well.

I love the river shore with the log posts and retainer wall.. So raw and rustic.

If only I'd been born just a little earlier to see Disneyland in it's beginning years.

It looks extra barren without Cascade Peak there.
