The Mighty Matterhorn

An exploration of one of my favorite rides- the Matterhorn Bobsleds. First up is a nice view of the Matterhorn mountain from the Submarine Voyage.

A nice view of the Fantasyland load area. The color of the bobsleds are so mod, I kind of wish they would bring back the brightly colored bobsleds.

An opposite view of the ride, the splashdown on the Tomorrowland side.

I leave you today with the melodic sounds of an accordian playing Germanic Swiss music on the slopes of the Matterhorn.

Holy cow, I don't remember the bobsleds ever being different colors! Very cool.

Ahhh yes; back in the day of the single sled.
I have seen climbers over the years but I don't recall ever seeing an accordion player. Very cool.

Hello Matterhorn, stopping by to be neighborly.

I haven't had much blog time in the last months, sorry to be so lax.

I enjoy your blog very much and wish you well.

Nice queue picture - the looks of the people waiting to take off says it all - happy! Queue pictures are some of my favorites. I guess because we spend so much time together standing and waiting - these are some of my best and clearest memories - anticipation.

How can we lobby to bring back an accordion player to the Matterhorn? That is the coolest thing.
