Bernard and Bianca Visit Disneyland

Another shot of unusual costumed characters. Though not a big fan of this movie, I love that the characters were created and walking around Disneyland. I assume the characters came out for the release of the Rescuers Down Under.

Do you think these date from "Down Under"... or from the original "Rescuers" movie?? Their all-plush heads make them very appealing, although Bernard is suffering from lazy eye.

The Rescuers is not a perfect movie by any means, but I did really like the voice work by Eva Gabor and Bob Newhart.

I believe they date from the original Rescuers movie, but were pulled out for the Down Under film.

Thanks. I love the Rescuers.

The two have been seen at Tokyo Disney Sea in the last few years, I believe the represent the New Your area of the park in some of the water pageants.

I have a pic of these two near the entrance to Tomorrowland that I took in 1981. I'll try to get it posted in the future.

Brian, I have also seen them walking around the American Waterfront/New York section of Tokyo DisneySea.
