Inside the Disneyland Hotel Gourmet Restaurant Cocktail Lounge

The last post from yesterday featured the signage and entrance to the cocktail lounge at the Gourmet Restaurant at the Disneyland Hotel. Let's go inside to see the interior. The photographs came from an estate of a Budweiser sales man and I assume the Disneyland Hotel was one of his stops. The first two shots show patrons drinking Budweiser at the lounge tables. The interior was themed to a British Man's club or even a dark pub with leather chairs, wooden walls and pub signs.

The next two photos show one of the bars. Note the powder hunting horn used as a beer pull. And also check out the great 1950s modern illustration mural in the background.

Here is the other bar with even more fun 1950s illustration of an English city scene with brewers and also pubs.

I don't even drink, but I would love to put on an nice dark suit with one of those slick skinny ties and sit and have a beer or two with these guys. Looks like these men were really enjoying being there, it must be that awesome wallpaper behind the bar that sets the mood! THANKS for these RARE shots. Tim
