Two Views of the Disneyland Hotel Arcade Sign

Two views of the signs along the Disneyland Hotel arcade. The first shows the sleek Monorail in station with the airline reservation offices underneath. The Volkswagon Van is marked for the Disneyland Hotel on the back. Must have been the van used to tranpsort hotel guests and their luggage. The second image is of the Disneyland Hotel Restauarant sign. The restaurant's were originally run by Gourmet who also had restaurants in Beverly Hills and other hotels.

Wow, that first photo is pretty cool. Check out the old-fashioned bus beneath the new-fashioned Monorail!

That second photo is very unusual too.

The VW Van was used to pick-up people at the airport. They used golf carts to get people around on the grounds. The van also took VIP's to Disneyland if they did not want to take the tram or the Monorail.
