Frontierland Attractions Sign

Sitting at a small park besides the Rivers of America was this large sign with the various attractions found in Frontierland. I like the peek of Tom Sawyer's Island buildings in the background.

PJ, so do you think the petrified tree would have been a little further down to the right of the photographer? This looks as if it would have been smack dab right out front of the Aunt Jemima restaurant's front door (Frontierland side - and of course if it had a front door located in the same spot as today's River Belle Terrace). It looks as if the bridge is to the left of the photographer and below it the raft landing and waterway to the Jungle Cruise. I wonder if you have an aerial view of this area? Finally, I also appreciate that we can now clearly identify where fire hydrant #6 is located. Maybe that could be your next series of posts... the fire hydrants of Disneyland (just a thought... from a Fireman's son). ;-)

Always your pal,
Amazon Belle

Amazon Belle- I believe this is right next to the bridge over the river connection between the Jungle River and the Rivers of America. I believe you are correct that the petrified tree would be to the right.

PS I called you out on Major's post today, trying to coax you into an entire Fire Hydrant series. ;-)
