Party Gras and Mouseorail

For the 35th Anniversary, Disneyland created a fun parade and a unique vehicle from a classic attraction. Party Gras featured large inflatable floats of everyone's favorite characters which were surrounded by dancers. Roger Rabbit was one of the hottest characters at this time so he was a featured float. The dancers would toss out souvenir coins and collecting the coins became all the rage.

The unique vehicle was created from the front end of Monorail Mark III red with the nose cone. The body was placed upon a truck chassis and toured the United States promoting Disneyland.

WOW, that Monorail vehicle is amazing. Never saw that before! I wonder if it was destroyed, or if it still exists somewhere?

I want that monorail vehicle. Convert it into an RV and hit the road. Downward visibility sucks but who cares. Yes, I wonder what ever happened to it.

I saw the Mousorail in person during its travels across the United States. It showed up at a mall parking lot near where I live. It was so cool to see in person.

The Mouseorail was the front car of the MONORAIL RED Mark III. After the promotion it sat in Disneyland's boneyard rotting. It was then "saved" to be used in the unbuilt "Tomorrowland Transportation Warehouse Restaurant" --what became RED ROCKETTS PIZZA in Tomorrowland. It was then cut-up even more and painted flat black with flourecent drafting lines for the Rocket Rods preshow. It was then leter destroyed and does not survive.
