I love miniature trains. I used to ride a really cool streamliner train at Knowland Park Zoo in Oakland when I was a kid in the 60s. I think the train is still there, but is no longer a streamliner.
Rohr Park is in the Bonita area of Chula Vista. It has a layout of 7.5" gauge tracks which are maintained and operated on certain weekends by the Chula Vista Live Steamers group. However, it is quite unlike the zoo train (perhaps 15" or 16" gauge) that is shown here. The 7.5" gauge trains are similar to the size Walt Disney had in his backyard Carolwood Pacific Railroad (7.25" gauge).James
I love that little train!
Omg. My girlfriend owns Happy Hallow on national city. She is going to love this.
