Paratrooper Ride at Pacific Ocean Park

Part of the midway at Pacific Ocean Park was this paratrooper ride. The paratrooper was said to mimic the motion of jumping and landing. The background is the Sea Serpent Roller Coaster and also the entrance to the Union 76 Ocean Highway as well as the Magic Carpet ride.

I remember the Paratrooper at the local carnival when I was a kid. I loved this ride. It always ran faster and more intense at the traveling carnival shows than at the permanent installations like the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Great B&W!
