Views From 1956 Part 2

Two more images from Main Street. First up a fantastic shot of the Fire Station with the Horse Drawn Fire Engine heading out to answer a fire alarm. Notice the trees are pretty sparse and young in the background.

One of the best views of the bandstand I have seen. I agree with the comment made by David yesterday that this is most likely July given the number of flags and bunting.

Excellent view of Walt's digs. In 56', was this as known as it is now. Did guest really know who stood in that window and watch for smiles?

Yes, that Firehouse photo is one of the few I've seen in which the windows are open. Could Walt be there, or at least Lillian?

Yes that is the same bandstand that is now at Roger's Gardens.
