Disneyland Hotel 1970 Part 2

From the 1970 stay at the Disneyland Hotel. I really like the landscaping.

We BEGGED my dad as kids to stay here (we lived in Palos Verdes at the time). Of course it never happened.
After I got married, many years later, one of the things I wanted to do was 1. Stay at the Disneyland Hotel and 2. Visit Santa's Village, which I'd passed a zillion times on the way to Lake Arrowhead to visit relatives.

The ONE time I was at and able to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, it was sold out because of a convention...

Maybe one of these days...

Ha, you managed to post something this morning! At 6 AM no less.

The hotel building seen in the second photo is pretty typical of the day, but the landscaping is definitely lush and nice.

This is a nice place to visit. I hope I can visit in the future!

We didn't even bother to beg to stay there. My parents religiouly booked into the Peter Pan Motel. From '57 to '68. There was another dozen trips to D-Land before my wife and I finally stayed there in '92, '93, '95 and '96, which was a great trip. We did the early entry thing with about 20 other people the first week the Indiana Jones was operating. First one on the ride! Got a great shot of the castle with a mop bucket in front.
