When I began this series, I asked for copies of ticket fliers I may not have and one of my loyal readers sent in this 1955 ticket flier. This is the second 1955 gate flier. Note the text on the sheet with the dates the flier was effective.

That 1955 gate flyer might be the first one for ticket books? I have heard that Oct. 11, 1955 was the date "ticket books" were introduced to the public. But I see Canal boats and the Freight Train in the 10/11/55 flyer but not the "undated" version" so I'm a little confused.

I have two ticket books that might be late 1955 or early 1956, I wonder if they could be these "October to November" books? They are definitely not the first books, but are early (no Skyway).
Matterhorn, the change to 1 AM on Friday/Saturday Date Nites occurred the first half of July. I have a July 5 ad that still has Date Nites until midnight. The next Disneyland ad I have is from July 16, indicating that the Park is open every day until at least midnight, and 1 AM on Date Nites. Based on that, I think July 19 was the first 9 AM - 1 AM day in the Park's history.
