New York Worlds Fair- Part 8

The last set of images is from the all dancing, all singing, all swimming and all diving show put on by Broadway producer Billy Rose. With the title of Aquacade, the show entertained millions of visitors. The ampitheater seated 10,000 at a showing. Unfortunately, our photographer was stuck behind a rather large audience member. First up is the back of the head of one of the audience member and some of the ampitheater.

Here is the all diving part of the show.

What show would not be complete without showgirls holding stars.

The all dancing part of the show.

The all swimming part of the show.

This show must have been enormously popular... the photo album that I have has PAGES of photos from this show, as well as "American Jubilee" and the big Railroad show.
