Public Telephones On Main Street

One of the most obscure images from the Kodak collection is this shot of the pay telephones on Main Street. I believe this was located next to the current location for the lockers. With today's liability and risk, the steps would not be in use.

Is this on Center Street? You can see the reflection of the sign for the old Pen shop. I love the little telephone signs.

Very nice picture. I *think* it's actually to the left of where you go in for the lockers. If I'm not mistaken, they now sell ice cream novelties out of that window there.

Nice shot. It's surprising just how 'plain' that facade looks. It feels uncomplicated and pure - but lacks detail.
