Disneyland Hotel Under Construction

A shot of some of the first framing for the Disneyland Hotel with Disneyland in the background. The image was probably taken in May 1955. The best source for information about the history of the Hotel is Don Ballard's Disneyland Hotel blog and his highly recommended book on the Disneyland Hotel history. Yes, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland seem to be mostly just dirt at this point! They got the plants into the Jungle Cruise asap so they could start filling out. And where is Main Street Station??

Major: If you look really closely, you can see the tower of Main Street station against the backdrop of the Opera House.
