Crowded Days at Disneyland

Three views from different parts of Disneyland showing some of the crowds seen in the park in the 1970s. The first is of the Opera House with Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln. I like the Lincoln profile architectural piece that looks like a penny.

The second is of the Monorail station with the scarce green monorail in station. As I look at this photo, I am nostalgic for and miss the old Monorail sign.

Finally the last shot is of the It's A Small World walkway filled with people. The brightly colored souvenir kiosk is a nice touch. The facade of Small World really works as a good "weenie" drawing people towards it.

Great shots, P; wonder if they will find their way to ebay soon?!?

You can see a long-skirted hostess outside of the Lincoln show. And I love that shot of the Monorail station with the green monorail!!

Wow, have people been selling your images on ebay (based on Dave's comment)? I noticed the little "watermark", I'm starting to think that's not a bad idea (Daveland has been doing it all along, of course).

Great color and clarity on these! Green Monorail, now that is Rare! If you think these look crowded, head on over to DL today!

What, your photo’s are being sold on Ebay? Unless you are the seller, that doesn’t seem right. I mean, you own these don’t you? It would be one thing for you to resell them (since you bought them) but it’s kind of like stealing for someone to sell them, isn’t it?

You blog has gotten so popular, it must be attracting some of the “less desirable” characters, let us know if you need our help to mobilize and protest !

Thanks for all your great work!

I'm really missing those awesome Mickey head balloons. They were so pretty and colorful and IMO, much nicer than the flashy, expensive mylar balloons.

Small World sure looks white and sparkle-y!

Thanks for another great post!

The story is a seller on E-bay in his listings had swiped both Dave and my images. What was upsetting was that he had watermarked them as his own and said he owned the images and I stole them from him. The issue has been resolved now.
