The shade pull string ring is cool. I remember those when I was a youngin'. Do they even manufacture pull string shades anymore?
Agree with K. Martinez... the pull string is pretty darn cool.
I wonder what were the photographs of in the frames on the back wall? Also, can anyone make out what is written on the window on the left side? It looks like it says, "Exchange" ('D' Coupon). I think it is interesting that the fonts are different.

Matthew- I believe it does say Exchange D Coupon. At this time the souvenir train tickets were in use, so you would exchange a D coupon for the souvenir ticket.

This is wonderful, Patrick! The way they are framed, the photographs on the interior wall suggest movie stills. Perhaps from 'So Dear To My Heart'?
Wow! outsidetheberm, that would make sense... but I wonder if that was too close a movie tie in for those days. I was thinking just good ol' fashioned Rail Road photos... but it would be interesting to know.
