Souvenir Friday- Japanese Disneyland Postcards

An unusual set of postcards printed for the Japanese market. The postcards are slightly less than Continental size and feature some unusual views. First up is the nicely designed folder to hold the postcards.

Next up is a series of character pictures with some unusual pairings of characters, and others that make sense.

The next set includes interior of attractions. I love that out of the five postcards, four are from now removed attractions. First up is Snow White's Scary Adventure.

The original Country Bear Jamboree.

The last three are from America Sings. The only other postcards which feature America Sings are from a Tomorrowland postcard album.

Don't think these were printed for a Japanese market, probably for Chinese. There is no Hiragana or Katakana in the print, and there would be if this were Japanese.

I concur with Yendorb. Chinese, with Engrish translations. I almost fell out of my seat when I read "Children take it for a sacred paradise."

... well, isn't it?

Very welcome shots of America Sings.

Wow, I've NEVER even heard of these. Are they listed in "The Nickel Tour"?? They must be quite rare. And I like these way better than those awful French Disneyland cards (the ones with the characters at various French landmarks)... at least these are actual photos from the park!
