Teacups

Two more images from the glass slides. The two young ladies are cute in their red and white outfits. Notice the signs in the background, especially the shield with the grapes on it for the Welch's Grape bar.

Something I really liked about the old Fantasyland is that even though they use every color under the sun, they don't fight with one another.

Anonymous said...: I remember the murals on the walls in Welch's. Illustrations of the Centaurs, unicorns and forest creatures that populate the second movement of Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony 6 in the movie Fantasia.

Of course, I didn't know that then, and I always wondered what movie they were from, in that distant era before VCR.

Do you ever get pics of that interior?
