Messy for a place that just served coffee.

The place also served food. Breakfast and lunch dishes...along with an assortment of beverages.

Oh my, I am just so thankful for these. I am so in happy happy joy joy mode looking at these and remembering. Yes, and I may add that I thought the food was rather good. Just a wonderful little place within the park that truly deserves to be 're-booted' if you will.
Matterhorn....just a wonderful memory flood. Thank you so much.

KG, it was a full breakfast/lunch menu.

One of the bloggers has posted a menu from this era, I think it's Vintage Tickets.

We didn't often get lunch here, since by that time, we were deeper in the park.

Back then the park opened later, and we would get breakfast outside, often at the Chalet, since we stayed at the Magic Lamp and came in the .

Dad would want coffee here before going further. He and Mom would wait here while I ran ahead to ride the bobsleds. I would come back to find them here enjoying coffee. I couldn't imagine then how sitting together with coffee could be better than the Matterhorn, but I know now. Mom and Dad had a few quiet minutes together without me, good for them.

I just got a glimpse into the past, to see something familiar, with adult vision. That's actually better than re-living it. Thanks for that.
