Mickey Mouse Store Display 1930s

Sorry for no post yesterdy as I had technical difficulties uploading the images. Veering off of Disneyland history, but staying in Disney history for today's images of a Christmas Display in the 1930s. In many cities and towns, the main shopping venue for Christmas was the Department store (think of the store in A Christmas Story.) To attract customers the stores would put up some pretty elaborate displays. Though not as elaborate as others, this one does include a visit to the North Pole that looks kind of like It's A Small World and nice figures of Mickey and the gang. The figures were most likely made by Old King Cole Display company.

Wow, I really love these... the old elaborate store displays (particularly around Christmas) must have been incredible when seen in person.
