The Entrance to Tomorrowland

Not as thrilling as yesterday's post, but still a nice reminder of how the 1967 Tomorrowland looked. The land was much more inviting and more kinetic. Plus I just can't stop looking at the fashion!

Wow. The symmetry, clean lines, smooth curves and style are amazing. I'm sorry - I was lingering on the girl in yellow in picture #1, but Tomorrowland is not too shabby either!!

Compared to the current clutter -it's night and day. Will Tomorrowland ever return to it's former glory?

Yes, more of the girl in yellow! Ha ha. Tomorrowland looks great too; I was noticing that if you put your thumb over the Rocket Jets (i.e. removing it), the fun factor goes way down. Remove the colorful Peoplemover, and it starts to really go dead. But those things will never happen!

Please tell me there are other photos where she looks like more than a tall 12-year-old. Otherwise, some of these comments are a little creepy!

Hrundi you crack me up! Steve, lets assume she's legal (now at least) she is carrying a purse, of course if could be here mom's! 2nd photo, lady on the far left in the black & white dress, that's an interesting look!!!

I miss Tomorrowland '67 and those wacky fashions!!!

My favorite is the three teens in the second photo on the right, the guy is wearing a white turtleneck and black coat, the girl is wearing a sweater and a puffy floral skirt and the other guy is wearing a v neck sweater with white pants.

I remember wearing clothes just like the people in the picture - and it all looked so normal . . . THEN!
